Talk of the year
Child Marriage
When words fall short, art speaks
At Biahoitalks, every year begins with a conversation - one that asks us to pause, reflect, and look closer at the world we share.

Talk of the Year continues our belief that change starts with honest dialogue. Each year, we explore a different social or political issue - not to take sides, but to understand, question, and connect.

This first chapter begins with Fragments, an artistic reflection on child marriage in Vietnam’s highlands. Through colors, shapes, and emotion, young voices turn silence into stories, and stories into understanding.
FRAGMENT

The name Fragments embodies the stories of those whose childhoods were cut short by early marriage. Their lives, once whole, are now shaped by scattered pieces - memories, hopes, and quiet strength that endure through time. This exhibition gathers those fragments, turning them into art that speaks where words cannot.
FRAGMENTS - The Art Exhibition

Years in bloom
The stories told in Fragments continue in Years in Bloom - a larger project exploring child marriage through research, storytelling, and youth-led initiatives.
Below are a selection of artworks that shed light on early marriage and celebrate the strength, beauty, and resilience of women.
